International Women’s Day is a global holiday to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. Women’s day is an annual day commemoration event for us to celebrate and honour women, who live a life of sacrifice. It is celebrated today, 8th of March with pomp and grandeur at our institutions and other international institution. This year, the theme is #breakthebias as put out on our website and social Medias worldwide. It is also geared with the general theme to remove prejudice against women and girls and remove gender inequality, which is an act against women, branding them unfairly as unfit or weak for the lookout of society. Without women, there can’t be an ounce of kindness in this world. Today, we at SXB shall take this moment to celebrate and remember their sacrifice, efforts and their significance in all big or small aspects of life.
Women are mythical majestic creatures blessed by mother Nature who had implemented the power of creation in them and are far superior in all fields of development than men, in every which way. There are also several other crimes against women where women are mistreated like domestic violence, dowry, sexual abuse and many more that has become the new age hindrance for women to blossom into their personal best. Women march into a new world where such awareness campaigns are launched and protection is loudly proclaimed so that we can help women break stereotypes and break the bias that is given to women as a sign of pity. There can’t be a debate to dispute resolution that women stand over the shoulders of men and this awareness campaign is only a strong step for women to reach their truest potential. World famous feminist, Gloria claimed that women’s day isn’t for a particular Institute or an organization but also for the entire world who are interested in humanity. Such concepts have taken us at SXB by force and had compelled us to stand in empowering women and support them in order for them to gain their best potential.
