As an institute that prepares young people for the world, we need to celebrate the people most responsible for the success of children: mothers. The Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church first celebrated Mother’s Day sixty years back. It was a liturgical celebration, steeped in the Christian tradition. Yet today is celebrated by over 40 countries on Earth. The first Sunday of May is an opportunity to acknowledge mothers for all they do for us. No amount of appreciation would be sufficient to express our gratitude for the debt we owe. For them, the sole reward is to watch their children become able and successful citizens. They have toiled all their lives to make this happen. We are steadfastly dedicated to fulfilling that dream for every mother whose child studies at the St Xavier’s Business School, Bangalore.
